Changing Your Schedule
Changes in class schedules may be made by Web without charge during the scheduled registration periods. Students
will not be permitted to add new courses or change sections after the first week of classes of a semester or the first day of a five-week summer term.
After the registration period ends, individual courses may be dropped on-line using your Web for Students account. All individual courses may be dropped on-line except the last course. If all classes are dropped, you must process a withdrawal from the University through Advisement Services.
If you are switching sections or courses, be sure you have not missed the deadline to add a course.
In order to drop a remedial course or a restart class, you must get permission of the Registrar.
Students should consult with their academic advisor before changing class schedules.
Dropping Individual Courses: Deadlines
The final date for dropping individual courses is the last day of the tenth week of classes in a semester, the thirty-eighth day of classes in a ten-week term (class that spans two five-week terms), the twenty-sixth class day in an eight-week term, the seventeenth class day in a five-week term, the tenth class day in a three-week term.
