Readmission Procedures

If a student has been away from Arkansas State University for more than one year, he/she must complete and submit the Readmission form to the Registrar's Office. You may type in the form and print it, or you can obtain a form at the Registrar's Office located in the Student Union / RSSC on the second floor. If you have questions, you may call us at (870) 972 - 2031.

Note: If faxing the readmission form, please do not include a cover sheet. We only need the form to be faxed to us.

Readmission applications will be accepted through noon on the last day to add courses, which is usually one week into the semester. Students must have all required documents in by noon that day so the application can be processed and allow the student time to register. Although this is the deadline for readmission applications, it is not recommended that students miss the first week of class. Readmission forms should be filed early.

In addition to the completed form the following information is also required:

Proof of immunizations against measles and rubella
Sealed, Official transcripts from all other schools attended since ASU.

NOTE:

Students returning after a period of suspension will be admitted, but are required to meet with Advisement Services before they can register.

Students who submitted a readmission application and did not attend will need to complete another readmission application.
