2. Come to the Transcripts department in the Office of the Registrar located in the Student Union Building/RSSC, Room 2124. Photo ID is required.
By fax (Note: There is a seven day delay on most faxed requests.)
Students who took courses after Fall 1990 and choose to fax a request will have a seven day delay in transcript processing. These students should use Self Service, which is more secure for credit transactions and will provide faster turn around. Students who have any course work before Fall 1990 can fax a request without the processing delay.
Hold for Grades or Hold for Degree
A transcript request can be made in Self Service with the option to 'Hold for Grades' or 'Hold for Degree.' Click here for more information.
If you need your transcript to have Spring 2008 grades, please select “Hold for Final Grades” in the “Print Transcript” drop down box on Self Service. Your transcript request will be processed the week of May 12, 2008.
If you are graduating in May 2008 and need your degree posted to your transcript, please select “Hold for Degree.” Transcripts will be available by May 19, 2008 for graduating students.
Special Delivery Service
For Federal Express delivery, there is an additional fee of $18 and up depending on the destination of the transcript. In addition, the student must have an account number with Federal Express.

Transcript Policies
Transcripts are issued at the written request of the student or appropriate institutions and officials. Official transcripts of the student's ASU permanent record are issued on security paper with the seal of the University.
Transcripts which have been presented for admission or evaluation of credit become a part of the student's permanent record and are not reissued. Transcripts from other institutions, if needed, must be obtained directly from the original issuing institution.
Transfer students should obtain, for advisor use in scheduling, a reference copy of their academic record from each institution attended.
Transcripts or other evidence of attendance will not be issued to or for a student who is in debt to the university.
We will NOT release high school transcripts or transcripts from any other institution. You MUST contact the high school or the other institution to acquire your transcript.
There will be a seven-day processing delay on faxed requests from students who have taken courses after Fall 1990. Students who have only taken courses before Fall 1990 can submit a faxed request without the processing delay.
